Equipped with a pair of 1.6mm Fat Tone hoops, this snare drum delivers an open, robust backbeat. Furthermore, the set of Remo USA heads ensure an excellent sound right from the first tune. The drum's shell, measuring just 5.4mm in thickness, is the embodiment of sensitivity.
The 6-ply maple/birch shell with modern 45° bearing edges gives the drum a classic, open voice and fat backbeat. This sound profile is inspired by Pearl's innovative advancements in the Masterworks series.
