The AEG50 has a spruce top and sapele back and sides, a combination of tonewoods that produces a pleasant, mellow tone with a prominent low end. The superior playability and responsiveness of a nyatoh neck with walnut fingerboard. In the meantime, an Ibanez T-Bar II undersaddle and an AEQ-TTS preamp produce amplified tone with exquisite clarity. The AEG50 also has a smooth, deep cutaway that provides access to the upper notes on the neck.
