PBB: Paul Beard Signature-Series Resonator Bass Guitar with Case
The PBB Paul Beard Bass is a unique product from Gold Tone that embodies the company's "Folkternative" design philosophy. The goal was to offer bassists something innovative and different that no other manufacturer dared to provide. The resonator cone and spider bridge, supplied by renowned resophonic instrument expert Paul Beard, are the same components used in his premium hand-built guitars. The PBB is set up in Florida for maximum sound and playing comfort. The maple neck features a 32" scale, rosewood fretboard bound in white celluloid, and an all-mahogany body that is similarly bound. The bass is equipped with chrome-plated hardware and a custom humbucking pickup with onboard volume and tone controls. A hard shell case is included, and the PBB is available as a left-handed model.
