Daru Jones is an accomplished drummer, known for his work on albums such as Lazaretto by Jack White and Testimony by Gloria Gaynor. He has collaborated with numerous artists over the course of his decade-long career, including Bootsy Collins, Kanye West, and Pete Rock, and has performed at prestigious events such as the 2013 Grammy Awards, Austin City Limits, and the Montreux Jazz Festival. Jones is also a well-regarded producer and record label owner, known for his unique beat-making style that incorporates live drum loops, jazz and gospel samples, and soulful musicianship.
